‘Get Started with Max Computing’ webinar series

?Are you a teacher looking to understand how you can utilise our brand-new computer science series in your classroom?

This September and October, we are running two webinars that will provide insights into our new Max Computing series, a play-based learning pedagogy for grades 1-9. 

Max Computing has been developed in partnership with pioneering educators Digital Schoolhouse and is designed to prepare students for life in the digital world, building a strong foundation for formal qualifications and future workplaces.  

Teachers, authors and Digital Schoolhouse programme creators, Shahneila Saeed and Estelle Ashman will be running the sessions and they will explore:

Get Started with Max Computing: Comprehensive Introduction

  • Key book features
  • The student journey and progression framework
  • Understanding the formative and summative assessments
  • Understanding playful pedagogy

Get Started with Max Computing: A Dive into the Curriculum

  • Key curriculum strands
  • Students academic journey
  • An introductory dive into a Workbook and Student’s Book 

Each webinar will be run twice and teachers are welcome to attend either session, at the time that suits them.

Each webinar will run for one hour and attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for joining.
